The Association of Cooperation in Tetouan, abbreviated as ACT, is a non-profit non-governmental organization that was established in 2017 in the northern city of Tetouan, Morocco, by a group of 25 young people hailing from diverse backgrounds.
What is ACT?
Since its inception, ACT has rapidly grown into a nationwide community of over 50 project managers who are all united under the same inspiring slogan: “Our way to make a change!”
Our Mission
To empower Moroccan youth by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to drive social innovation. Through capacity-building and community engagement, we enable young changemakers to develop sustainable solutions to social and environmental challenges.
What are our Objectives?
- Promote civil participation of youth
- Reinforce their capacities in social innovation and sustainable impact
- Raise awareness about the manifestations of social injustice
- Raise awareness about the manifestations of climate change
- To create a safe, healthy, and educational community for Moroccan youth to grow their personal and social skills
What are our Activities & Tools?
- We use practical and innovative tools to maintain our work quality and amplify our impact. We organize capacity reinforcement programs and incubate impactful, innovative youth project ideas based on their needs. Additionally, we conduct annual training sessions for all NGO members.
To ensure transparency, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability, we leverage the power of social media and digital management tools for seamless communication and efficiency.

Thr Change Makers Program (CMP) empowers young individuals in social innovation. it spans 10 months of weekly sessions and progress monitoring. Throughout the year, four challenges are conducted for each season.
